HOMEMADE BUTTERCAKES

I have to tell you that i am sucker for butter cakes. i just love its simplicity. Most recipes on the web, vary from really soft texture to a moist effect. However, a great butter cake is simply great because of it's butter! So I've tried from margarine, mixing with shortening and the war between using unsalted and salted butters..the taste is always different.Of course, in Malaysia we have to use Halal butter brands. Meaning that Lards are a NO-NO.

But i love pure salted butter. The saltiness is just an extra pallet TURN-ON!So, most of the cakes that i bake uses salted butter which are also much easier to get in the Kampung area besides Margarine The Witch.

If you have some ample time, please browse through my butter cakes.

ABOUT HANIZA

Hello and Assalamualaykum,

I am Haniza. A new mom to my first born baby, Muhammad Bilal. A typical housewife living in a Kampung, my husbands hometown for two years already. I am from a hustle-bustle city called Kuala Lumpur. Life in Serada is always peaceful. It could get a little bit too boring but that's only because my family are all living in KL.However, i have a new family now. The three of us and baking!

i love baking.i wish i could call myself a baker. But,I am no expert in baking. The most valuable baking lessons are all from my mother. She is very good. You may visit her website www.delimayusoff.tumblr.com.Some people refer baking as therapeutic, some are addicted to food photography and most of us just love, love and love all the sweets, the caramelization and the crumbs and brittles of a fluffy life. I, on the other hand, just love baking because it gives me this satisfying feeling. As corny as that may sound, i think baking is very mechanical and emotional especially with Bilal scattering batter all over the kitchen.

So,this is my cake blog where you may purchase or grab any ideas bla,bla bla....

By the way, i have a few written blogs, most are unsuccessful..so let's see how this one goes.(LOL!)
